For more than thirty years, Attorney Laurie Giles Shipp has answered those questions for her clients and helped them navigate through life's most challenging times. Her ability to present complex legal and business issues in an understandable manner has made her a sought-after speaker, continuing education lecturer, and media source. A former radio talk show host, she has been a guest on numerous local and national radio and television shows. She has been featured in numerous publications including The New York Times, Hearst Connecticut Publications, Globe and Mail, Arthritis Today, Charlotte Observer, Work Style, and the Connecticut Law Tribune.

She serves as a Family Special Master for the Connecticut Superior Court. Attorney Giles completed certified mediator training at Syracuse University. She is one of the only mediators in Connecticut who has advanced training in family financial mediation.
Attorney Giles Shipp received a Bachelor of Psychology from Springfield College. She received her Masters in Higher Education Administration from Eastern Nazarene College and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
She is an avid reader who can be found during her free time enjoying the outdoors; hiking in Vermont, playing golf or boating.
