Attorney Joey-Lynn Darius
One would not think that a new attorney would have the experience needed to get the job done. Not true with Attorney Joey-Lynn Darius. Prior to going to law school, she had over 17 years of real-world paralegal experience in various areas of law, including real estate, family law, and contracts. She juggled the responsibilities of a full-time law student (graduating Cum Laude) full-time working mom of three (19, 17 & 9), and caregiver. Somehow, she kept all the balls in the air.
Joey-Lynn Darius graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration with honors in Civil Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, on an accelerated path. She was Note Editor for the Quinnipiac Law Review, Career Services Chair for the Student Bar Association, Part-Time Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, and Vice President of the American Constitution Society.
Attorney Darius is no stranger to hard work, dedication, and perseverance. She understands the unique stress involved when one is in a position that requires the assistance of an attorney. Her mission is to earn the trust and confidence of her clients, conduct herself with compassion and care, and zealously advocate for their needs.
Family is of the utmost importance. Joey-Lynn is a first-generation American, born to Haitian immigrants who taught her to strive for personal success and fiercely advocate for others.
Joey-Lynn is an avid reader, a lover of music, and Disney World’s biggest fan.
Joey-Lynn is fluent in Creole and French and has a working proficiency in Spanish.
